Insurance:

Most major insurances accepted. We file all insurance plans as a courtesy to our patients. Each provider is an independent contractor and contracts with most insurance plans individually. When seeking a mental health provider, please check with your carrier for the individual provider's name as well as the practice name to see if we participate with your insurance.

Please present your insurance card prior to your visit. Our billing specialist will assist new patients by checking the benefits in advance and will call you with an estimate of the fee you are responsible for at the time of your visit. Please note that this is an estimate, not a guarantee of payment and any co-payments, deductibles, non-covered services, or benefits that cannot be obtained prior to the visit will be due at the time of service. Any outstanding insurance claim over 60 days, will be billed to the patient. All balances are due within 15 days of receiving a statement. It is the patient's responsibility to notify us of any change in your insurance benefits. If your insurance changes, please make us aware prior to your appointment, as some plans require a prior authorization.

It is important to note that your mental health benefits may differ from your medical benefits, and separate deductibles may apply. Your employer determines the benefits you receive. Some employers have a separate Employee Assistance Program (EAP) that is available specifically for mental health issues. Check with your human resource department to see if this is available to you through your employer.

Please check with your insurance company to determine if you need a prior authorization before being seen. If you are seen without an authorization, you may be responsible for the entire bill. Our billing specialist will assist you with this process if you determine a prior authorization is needed before your appointment.

If you have any questions or concerns regarding your insurance filing, prior authorization, or balances, please contact our billing office at (229) 244-4207.
